The AcaBelles are Florida State University's only all female a cappella group. Since being founded in 2000, these classy and sassy women have been redefining female a cappella with their fierce choreography, killer vocals, and
innovative arrangements. The 12 singers come from various backgrounds and individual styles to create a unique blend and commanding presence in the Tallahassee a cappella community. The group recently achieved international success with their cover of a certain
regal chart-topper, catching the eyes and ears of CNN, Good Morning America, and Lorde herself. Since then, the 'Belles have traveled to numerous gigs, competed in ICCA and raised funds to record a new album, entitled "Rebel", now
available on iTunes and Loudr.
The purpose of AcaBelles is to promote all-female a cappella singing, and to raise awareness of a cappella throughout the Florida State University and its surrounding areas.
